Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013 is Monic Perez

Bodine Koehler Pena is yet to compete at Miss Universe but she is already giving away her title. That's because Miss Universe is so late this year. Nevertheless Puerto Rico has just successfully elected its Miss Universe 2013 contestant.

Monic Marie Pérez, 23 years old and 5'8.5" high, is the newly crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico and will compete at Miss Universe 2013. She participated in a pageant where is represented the Arecibo competing with 30 other young women across the commonwealth. The remainder of the results are as follows:

First runner-up: Génesis Mary Dávila Pérez
Second runner-up: Cayey, Desirée del Río
Third runner-up: Mayagüez, Cristina Franceschini
Fourth runner-up: Orocovis, Amanda Ortiz Rosado
