Winning! One Direction picked up three awards during the Teen Awards on Sunday, proving they are still the biggest boy band around

One Direction are still proving to be on top of the game when it comes to winning the hearts of teenagers.
Harry, Liam, Zayne, Louis and Niall came out on top at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, as they took home three awards from the Wembley Arena in London on Sunday.
The popular band took home the gongs for Best Single, Best Album and Best Music Act, cementing their status as the biggest boy band around.

Crowd pleasers: While they were on stage several times to collect their awards the boys also sang for the happy audience during the evening

Other winners included Ellie Simmonds, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Tom Daley, who followed the boys with two awards.
Her epic medal haul of two golds, a silver and a bronze in this year’s Paralympic Games won Ellie Simmonds won the Inspirational Hero of 2012.
Olympic medalist Tom Daley was hot on the heels of the boy band though, as he retained his crown from last year as Best British Sports Star, along with this year winning Male Hottie of the Year.

X Factor won best British TV Show which was collected by X Factor judge Tulisa.
Daniel Radcliffe picked up Best British Actor while his former co-star Emma Watson collected Female Hottie of the Year.
Hosted by Radio 1’s new breakfast show DJ Nick Grimshaw along with Gemma Cairney, the awards celebrated the achievements of outstanding young people in the UK.
Twittersphere went crazy about the awards and one user even said they should be renamed The One Direction Awards, the group took home so many.
