Knockout: Leona Lewis wows as she takes to the X Factor stage in a floor-length, purple gown

She is one of the show's most successful winners and returned to our screens this year as a guest judge but Leona Lewis cemented her X Factor comeback when she performed her new single live on Sunday night's results show.
The Hackney-born singer, who was crowned The X Factor winner in 2006, looked positively regal as she donned a floor-length purple Ariella Couture gown to perform new singe Trouble.
Blowing this year's contestants out of the water, Leona wowed the crowd with her flawless vocals on the track, which she has admitted is about her former love Lou Al-Chamaa, released earlier this week.

With her long mane sleeked back into a high ponytail, the 27-year-old global superstar seemed a far cry from the shy secretary who auditioned in front of Simon Cowell six years ago.
The purple gown, with long, sheer arms and cutaway sides made the young singer look every inch the superstar.

The former winner certainly knows what she's talking about, having won three Grammy Awards since her time on the show.
