It's official! Adele has revealed she WILL be singing the next Bond movie soundtrack, as a new image of the single cover is unveiled

It has been rumoured for months that Adele would be singing the theme tune for the upcoming Bond movie Skyfall.
And on Monday the singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, finally confirmed the worst-kept secret in music.
The Set Fire To The Rain star posted a picture of the Skyfall score on her Twitter page.

Announcement: Adele has confirmed she is singing the theme tune to Skyfall by posting a picture of the score on her Twitter page

The shot appears to show Adele in a recording studio alongside the sheet music, with the singer's vampish nails seen holding the score.
According to details on the score, Adele wrote the track alongside Paul Epworth, who co-wrote and produced her massive hit Rolling in the Deep.
A leading bookmaker paid out on bets Adele will sing the new James Bond theme last month, before the news was officially confirmed.
The film, again starring Daniel Craig as Bond, is to be given its premiere next month.

Living up to the hype: Adele's track is expected to be released sometime this week

She follows Jack White and Alicia Keys, who provided the theme to A Quantum Of Solace, while Chris Cornell voiced Craig's first 007 performance, Casino Royale.
Other notable Bond singers include Lulu, Sir Tom Jones and Dame Shirley Bassey, as well as A-Ha and Duran Duran.
Amid rumours that Adele would be performing the track, it was claimed earlier this week that the theme tune is going to be called Let The Sky Fall.
According to website Showbiz 411, the chorus of the song, which is due to be launched this week, contains the lyrics: 'Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together.'

Reprising his role: Daniel Craig will be playing James Bond again in Skyfall, the 23rd Bond movie

The song is then reported to continue: 'This is the end/Hold your breath and count to ten/Feel the Earth move and then/Hear my heart burst again.'
Skyfall sees Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007, with director Sam Mendes at the helm and Javier Bardem as the film's villain.
The movie will have its world premiere in London on October 23rd, before it is released on October 26th.
